In Rotterdam EDLE is offered by the Rotterdam Institute of Law & Economics (RILE). The RILE is part of Erasmus School of Law at Erasmus University Rotterdam.

The topics the Erasmus School of Law is focusing on in teaching and research are Law & Economics, International and European Law, Commercial Law, and Business Law. Its global reputation for teaching and research attracts talented people representing over 45 nationalities.
The RILE is part of the research group ‘Behavioural Approaches to Contract and Tort’. Within this group the RILE conducts research taking into account the thinking, deciding, and acting of individuals and groups and its influences and impacts on private law. Therefore, the methodology of the research pursued at the RILE is interdisciplinary by nature. The research team consists of legal scholars specialised in Contract, Tort, Property, Criminal, Corporate Law and Civil Procedure. Furthermore, scholars specialised in Law & Economics, Socio-Legal Studies, Empirical Legal Studies, and Psychology are part of the research team.
